Our Hire Terms & Conditions

📋 Bookings & Deposits

• All bookings require a non-refundable 50% deposit to secure your date. Your date is only confirmed upon receipt of the deposit.
• The remaining balance is due in full on or before the day of your event. Equipment will not be delivered if the balance has not been paid.
• Bookings are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. We cannot hold a date without a deposit.
• All bookings must be confirmed in writing via WhatsApp. Verbal bookings are not accepted.
• Prices are subject to change without notice. The price quoted at time of booking will be honoured for confirmed (deposited) bookings.

❌ Cancellations & Refunds

• The 50% deposit is strictly non-refundable under any circumstances.
• Cancellations made more than 7 days before the event date: deposit is forfeited; no further charge applies.
• Cancellations made within 7 days of the event date: the full hire amount is payable.
• Cancellations on the day of the event: the full hire amount is payable, no exceptions.
• We reserve the right to cancel a booking at any time due to unforeseen circumstances. In this event, a full refund of any monies paid will be issued.
• Postponements (date changes) are subject to availability and must be requested at least 7 days before the original event date. One free date change is permitted per booking.

🌧️ Weather Policy

• We operate in all reasonable weather conditions. Inflatables must be deflated in winds exceeding 25km/h or during electrical storms.
• In the event of inclement weather (sustained rain, high winds or electrical storms), we will work with you to reschedule where possible, subject to availability.
• We do not offer refunds for weather-related cancellations on the day of the event.
• If you choose to cancel due to weather forecasts prior to the event day, standard cancellation terms apply.
• We strongly recommend having a covered or indoor backup area available, especially in summer months.

🛡️ Safety Rules & Supervision

• Adult supervision is required at all times when inflatables and soft play equipment are in use.
• No shoes, sharp objects, food, drink, face paint, silly string, glitter or confetti inside or near inflatables.
• Maximum capacity limits must be observed at all times. Our team will advise on capacity upon setup.
• Children must not climb on the outside of any inflatable or play equipment.
• Soft play equipment is designed for children aged 6 months to approximately 6 years. Older children and adults must not use the soft play set.
• The bubble house is for children only. Adults should not enter the bubble dome.
• We reserve the right to deflate and remove equipment immediately if safety rules are repeatedly violated, with no refund issued.
• No pets are permitted inside or near any equipment.

🔨 Equipment Care & Damage

• The client is responsible for all equipment from the time of setup until collection.
• Any damage caused by misuse, negligence or violation of safety rules will be charged to the client at full replacement or repair cost.
• Inflatables must not be punctured, cut or tampered with in any way.
• Silly string, paint, markers, oils, sharp objects and similar items must not come into contact with any equipment.
• Excessive soiling of soft play equipment will incur a deep-cleaning fee of R500.
• Loss of or damage to any accessories (balloons, sticks, bags, etc.) included with a hire is the client’s responsibility.

🚚 Delivery, Setup & Collection

• Delivery and collection is included within 10km of our base in Kyalami. A travel fee of R10 per km applies beyond 10km.
• The client is responsible for ensuring a suitable, flat, clear area is available for setup before our team arrives.
• We require access to a power supply (standard 220V plug) within reasonable distance of the setup area for inflatable equipment.
• Setup time is included in the hire period. We typically require 30–45 minutes for setup and 20–30 minutes for collection.
• If our team is unable to set up due to inadequate space, access or power supply, no refund will be issued.
• Collection will take place at the agreed time. Extended hire time beyond the agreed period will be charged at R200 per hour.

⚖️ Liability

• Bubble Bounce Bliss JHB North is not liable for any injuries sustained during the use of hired equipment when safety rules have not been followed.
• All equipment is professionally cleaned, inspected and maintained before every hire. We take every precaution to ensure safety.
• The client indemnifies Bubble Bounce Bliss JHB North against any claims arising from the use of hired equipment during the hire period.
• We are not liable for any loss, damage or injury caused by third parties during your event.
